- HARDENED MATERIAL: All AirSpade Arbor Model Supersonic Nozzles are made from an extra-hardened, 416 stainless steel. This extra-tough material prevents breaking or cracking, protecting the user, the air gun, surrounding equipment, and personnel.
- AIR EXCAVATION REVOLUTION: supersonic air-excavation nozzles are a relatively new development. Through in-depth aerodynamic research including analysis of high-speed films, combined with extensive knowledge of soils, AirSpade designed and developed the proprietary supersonic nozzle (US Patent #5,782,414)
- HOW AIRSPADE WORKS: Soil is an assemblage of unconsolidated particles including clay, sand, rock, and organic matter. When AirSpade directs compressed air into soil at close range, air enters the voids, expands, and fractures the soil.
